When I purchased the Thomasson Funeral Home in 2004, I made a vow to myself, the community, and my professional staff to provide quality service that would surpass personal considerations and focus entirely on the needs of the families we would serve. We planned to reach beyond Louisa and offer the same caring, compassionate service to families in the surrounding areas. Our concept of "full service" included providing families with every possible comfort in the funeral home, and helping them make arrangements that would pay tribute to their loved ones in ways that would preserve cherished memories and create new ones. We know that a funeral home with deep roots in the community and deep relationships with local family and friends can best help those who are grieving. That is why we are still family-owned and operated, local, and dedicated to the community.
