Deacon Willie Brice entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2021 at his home in Louisa, Virginia. He was born on March 13, 1947 to the late Suzie Mallory and Willie Hughes.
Deacon Brice began his Christian journey at Countyline Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the Deacon Board. He also taught Bible Study and Sunday School. He found joy in serving the Lord with his bass guitar, that he affectionately called "Peggy Sue", while playing for the Countyline Men's Chorus. Deacon Brice also shared his musical gifts with ministries at Canaan Soul Saving Station Church and Galilee Baptist Church.
Deacon Brice was preceded in death by his wife, Rev. Peggy Brice, his mother, Suzie Brice Mallory, his father Willie Hughes, and his stepfather Calvin Mallory.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons Montez Brice and Torrey Brice; brothers Calvin Mallory, Mark Ralston, Gary Ralston, and Howard Ralston; sisters Dianna Coward, Mona Fleming, Janella Kincade, and Linda Jones; sisters-in-law Velma Dickerson, Barbara Scott (Gilbert), Bernadine Bradshaw, Earnestine Banks (David), Naomi Gilliam (Henry), Mercelia Morris, and Lisa Mallory; one brother-in-law Hubert Morris (Joyce), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at The Sun Chapel, D. D. Watson, Louisa. Interment will follow in the Morris Family Cemetery, Kents Store, Virginia.

*Due to COVID 19 restrictions the funeral service is limited to fifty immediate family members. *FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE, MASKS AND/OR SHIELDS MUST BE WORN TO ENTER THE FUNERAL HOME.
