William Joseph Pace Jr ., known to most as "Junnie" entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. He was born on August 28, 1945 to the late William Pace Sr. and Florence Harris Pace.
He attended the Louisa County Schools and was a 1963 graduate of A. G. Richardson High School.
Junnie was a member of the Philippi Christian Church where he served on the Usher Ministry.
In 1974, he married Leatrice Coles. This union created their loving son, Jermaine Pace Sr.
In 2006, after 40 years of service, he retired from the County of Henrico. One of the things Junnie loved to do was talk. Also for years, he was known as the Community Plumber.
Junnie was preceded in death by his father, William Pace Sr.; his mother, Florence Pace and sister Carolyn Chambers.
He leaves a loving family to cherish his memory; a devoted wife, Leatrice; a loving son, Jermaine Sr. (Jackie); three grandsons, Jermaine Pace Jr., Sunta Grimm (Myra) and Jhalil Parrish; three brothers, Freeman Pace (Teresa) of Mineral, VA, Bernard Pace of Goochland, VA and Franklin Pace (Rosa) of Clinton, Md.; one sister, Shirley Overton (Bill) of Fort Washington, Md.; four aunts, Sadie Johnson of Mineral, VA, Laura Evans of Richmond, VA, Helen Jones of Washington, DC, and Edna Athy of Richmond, VA; two uncles, Leroy Pace (Maxine) of Goochland, VA and Lewis Pace (Anna) of Goochland, VA; mother-in-law, Marian Harris of Louisa, VA; a brother-in-law, George Harris Jr. (Barbara); a very devoted friend, Pastor Temple Anderson Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
