Dr. William H. Johnson, Jr., 68, a resident of Clifton, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at INOVA Heart and Vascular Institute, Falls Church,Va. surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband to Lucille; father to Teresa Lynn and William H. III; and grandfather to Jordan Michael and Aliyah Denise. Dr. William H. Johnson Jr. was born November 18, 1939 in Mineral, son of the late Elder William H. Johnson Sr. and Louvinia O. Johnson. Dr. Johnson was a 1977 graduate of George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He was a compassionate and caring educator, who truly believed that no child should be left behind. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 15, at Temple of Deliverance HCG,5756 Zachary Taylor Highway Mineral, Virginia 23117. Funeral services follow starting at 1 p.m. with Bishop Alfonso Brooks officiating. Interment will be at True Apostolic Church of Christ 6631 Fredericks Hall Road Mineral, Virginia 23117.
