Travis Randle Mallory, 36, of Richmond, VA formerly of Mineral died Monday, May 23, 2016. Funeral notice later.God sent his angels to usher our beloved, Travis Randle Mallory affectionately known as "Bud" home on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Henrico Doctor's Hospital in Henrico, Virginia. Our beloved one is now rejoicing with the Lord and all of his family that made that spiritual journey before him. Travis is the son of Thelma Mallory Carter and Abraham Mason Jr. He was born January 7, 1980 in Henrico Virginia. At an early age Travis accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior and joined Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Alonzo Carter. Travis graduated from Louisa County High School in 1998. He attended the college of Virginia Commonwealth University located in Richmond, Virginia. He pledged the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity in the spring of 1999. Bud had several jobs and his last employment was with Capital One as a support associate in Henrico, Virginia. Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Melton Mallory, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Mason Sr., one uncle Richard Anderson, and one niece MaKayla Carter. Travis leaves to cherish his memories a loving daughter, Alexis Roberts Virginia Beach, VA; loving and devoted parents Joseph and Thelma Mallory Carter Louisa, VA; father Abraham Mason Jr. Mineral, VA; three sisters, devoted Stacey Mallory Louisa, VA, LaKeasha Haskins (Anthony) and LaKia Mason Mineral, VA; two brothers, Joseph Carter Jr. (Brittany) and DeAundrey Carter Mineral, VA; Grandmother, Geraldine Carter, Louisa, VA; seven aunts, two devoted, Barbara Dandridge, Mineral, VA, Margaret Anderson, Louisa, VA, Venus Wingfield, Louisa, VA, Pasty Horton (Gregory) Beaverdam, VA, Regina and Brenda Carter Louisa, VA, and Patricia Whiters Bumpass, VA; four uncles, devoted Donald Anderson (June) Mineral, VA, Lloyd, Jessie, and Francis Carter Mineral, VA; five great aunts, Corine Anderson, Mineral, VA, Adelle Houchens (Claude) Bumpass, VA, Amanda Coles, Bumpass, VA, and Gladys Taylor Mineral, VA; four great uncles Warren Anderson (Arlean) Montpelier, VA, Kenneth Anderson Mineral, VA, and Joe and Otto Taylor Bumpass, VA; the mother of his child Mia Calestine, Virginia Beach, VA; special friends, Tarea Washington Richmond, VA, and Lonette Graves Newport News, VA.; three devoted cousins LaTanya, Donald, and Bryant Anderson.; two devoted friends, Elder Cordell Yates Ashburn, VA, and Minister Matthew Robinson Richmond, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. All who had the privilege to have known him will miss Travis's loving spirit, joyful personality and huge smile. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 in The Sunday Chapel at D. D. Watson Louisa. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church 864 Pendleton Road Mineral, Virginia 23117 with Rev. William D. House, III officiating and Elder Cordell Yates eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
