Tony Jerrod Comfort Sr. 52, of Orange was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Tony, Sr., was born November 19, 1970 in Orange, VA to John and Joyce Comfort.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jean Payton and Lawrence Williams; paternal grandfather, John T. Comfort Sr. and maternal uncles, Ronald and Sylvester Payton.

Tony Sr. married Angela Ragland of Louisa and from their love came eight amazing children, Tierra Ragland, Tony Comfort Jr., Antonia Jackson (Travis), Akeem Comfort, Tabraisha Comfort, Armani Comfort, Takai Comfort and Amara Comfort.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, his parents, and two siblings, Kevin Comfort and Jonae Mason (James); his cherished grandchildren, Taj Jackson and Kehlani Comfort; grandmother, Mary Jean Comfort; uncles, Conrad Comfort and Lawrence Williams Jr.; aunts, Crystal Humes, Alyse Bullock (Brian), Helena Payton, Jean McNeil, Catherine Payton, and Junaita Payton; nephews, Matthew Sims, Jamison Mason; nieces, Jayla Mason, and Jordyn Mason; forever in-laws, Earl and Audrey Scott; beloved friend, Talisa Snead and many cousins and friends.

Tony Comfort, Sr., touched the lives and hearts of so many people. His smile and laugh filled up the room. He will forever be missed by us all.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 4-7pm  at D.D. Watson,Louisa.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1pm at Foster Creek Baptist Church in Louisa Virginia with Pastor Rev. Michael Crawley officiating. Interment will follow in the Ragland Family Cemetery. There will be no Repass.
