THOMAS E. JACKSON of Louisa, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Born November 19, 1945, he was the son of Cora Scott and the late Wallace Jackson. He was preceded in death by his beloved brothers Stephen Jackson, William Scott and Wesley Scott.

Those left to cherish his memories include his mother Cora Scott, four brothers Teddy Jackson, Earl Scott and wife Audrey and Ernest Scott all of Louisa, Virginia; and Jimmie Jackson of Gordonsville, Virginia; three sisters Sadie Harris and husband Robert of Baltimore Maryland; Emma Jackson of Charlottesville, Virginia and Yvonne Fortune of Troy, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Bybee Baptist Church, 4989 Bybee Church Road, Troy, Virginia.

Interment will follow in the Scott family cemetery.
