Theresa Elizabeth Quarles Morris, (94), suddenly departed this life to be with the Lord on
Monday, February 9, 2009 in Southern Maryland Hospital in Prince Georges County, MD. She
was born on May 27, 1914 to the late Samuel and Katie Quarles in Louisa, VA.

She was the loving wife of the late Samuel B. Morris and the loving mother of the late Harry Frank
Morris and the loving grandmother of Camilla Morris-Ballou.

Mrs. Morris is survived by a son, Samuel J. Morris of Ft. Washington, MD; a daughter, Helen Morris
Mallory of Louisa, VA; grandson, Robert (Bobby) Williams, Jr. of Louisiana; great granddaughter,
Megan Ballou of Takoma Park, MD; daughter-in-law, Carolyn E. Morris of Ft. Washington, MD;
two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Morris of Washington, DC and Hilda Morris of Wilmington, DE, as well
as a host of loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Mt. Gilliam (Old Site)
Baptist Church. Her remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
