God called home one of his strongest soldiers Stewart Randolph Christmas to his heavenly home on Friday, June 27, 2014. Stewart was born at UVA Medical Center on November 15, 1951 to the late James Edward and Cora Louise Christmas. He was also proceeded in death by his brother Jerry Lee Christmas and sisters Jeanette Bishop and Edna Waddy. Stewart joined Foster Creek Baptist Church at an early age. He was also educated in the Louisa County School System. In 1971, Stewart married Nora Anderson and from this union two children were born.

Having to provide for a new wife and son, Stewart worked as truck driver with Barton and Boyd Trucking Co. of Louisa for over 25 years. He then was employed by A.G. Dillard for another 5 years until his retirement. To occupy his time the highlights of Stewart's days became following in some of his mother's footsteps. Like his mother, he attended the Betty Jean Queen Senior Center. He felt that would make her proud. Stewart enjoyed being around people, having a few laughs, the fun activities and of course, he got to flirt with the women. He was a man that always spoke from his heart and always expressed his love for his family and he made sure they knew it too. Stewart also enjoyed visiting other churches like First Bible Way of Louisa and New Life Community of Louisa.

Stewart leaves to cherish his loving memories one son, Kevin Antonio Christmas, Sr (Cheryl), one daughter, Lori Shantel Christmas (Shaun) all of Gordonsville. Three grandsons Kevin Christmas Jr of Charlottesville, Quintin Christmas, and Trey Christmas of Gordonsville. One great-grandson Nivek Christmas. Three sisters Clara Aheart of Louisa, Rena Garland (Robert), of Gordonsville, and Flora Pace (Raymond) of Sandy Hook. Two brothers Elder Edward Christmas, Jr, Elder Robert Christmas (Alice) all of Louisa, a devoted friend, Martha Adkins of Louisa, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from noon until 7 p.m. at Thomasson Watson Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church Frencliff, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
