Steve Edward Jackson, 51, of Charlottesville, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017. He was born February 3, 1966, to Stephen and Thelma Jackson. Steve was preceded in death by his father.

Those left to cherish his memories include his mother Thelma Jackson of Charlottesville, Virginia; two beautiful children - daughter Destiny Jackson and son Steve Jackson of Arvonia, Virginia; two grandmothers – Cora Scott of Louisa, Virginia, and Flossie Quarles of Kents Store, Virginia; a devoted friend Kimberly Washington of Charlottesville, Virginia; five aunts; four uncles and a host of cousins and friends.

Steve attended Louisa County Public Schools, and in his adult life worked for United Postal Service (UPS) in Charlottesville, Virginia. Anyone close to Steve knew that he was a dedicated New York Giants Fan!

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Springfield Baptist Church 1042 Zion Road Troy, VA 22974. The committal and benediction will follow in Scott Family Cemetery.
