Sarah Elizabeth Williams, 100 of Louisa, Virginia died on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Louisa Health & Rehab Center in Louisa, Virginia.
Born Friday, November 7, 1913 in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Major Williams and the late Sarah Williams. She was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Thompson and sister Dorothy L. Poindexter.
She was educated in the Louisa County Public Schools and was employed by and retired from University of Virginia.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of Eagle Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Costello Jackson of Mineral, VA, and great niece Rebecca Jones of St. Louis,MO, and a devoted friend Harlin E. Sims.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Eagle Baptist Church with Rev. Roger E. Braxton, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
