Robert Dean White was called to be with the Lord on November 15, 2011 at the age of 65. He was born on September 18, 1946 to the late Samuel J. White and Sarah White Bradshaw.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Byrd Grove Church in Kents Store. Robert was a child of special needs and spent a lot of time with different families and caregivers. He was unable to attend public schools, but he always felt loved.
In 2008, he was blessed to go to the home provider of Mr. & Mrs. McDaniels of Cottontown Road in Forest, VA under the special supervision of Ms. Dana Chisolm. Robert loved church music and blues. He attended church until he was not able to travel.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Sarah Bradshaw; three sisters, Rosa Jackson (Hugh) of New Jersey, Karen and Michelle White of Washington, D.C.; four brothers, John White of Fork Union, Samuel White, Gregory White and Calvin White all of Washington, D.C. Additionally, he leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Byrd Grove Baptist Church Kents Store, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
