Robert Leroy Wells Peacefully went home to be with the lord on Monday March 8th, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born May 22, 1965 the son of the late Thomas J. Wells Sr. and Julia J. Wells a sister Ruth Monroe White, two sisters' in-laws, Celestine Walker Wells and Gloria Wells Preceded him in death.

Clarence Wells of Charlottesville VA, Carl Wells and wife Crystal of Charlottesville, VA, Amos Wells of Charlottesville VA. Brother in-law Elwood White of Scottsville Va. Sisters Evon Grant and husband Melvin Grant of Virginia Beach. Shirley Brown Louisa Va. Special Niece's and Nephew's Maurice Wells of California, Alfreda R. Carter, of Charlottesville Va. Amy Czumack of New York, Travis Brown of Charlottesville Va. And Dana Monroe of Charlottesville Va. And a host of nieces and nephews.
Robert was a Member of First Baptist Church in Charlottesville Va. When He moved to Louisa, he moved his membership to Bright Hope Baptist Church where he found Family there. He was a Faithful member and he so loved the lord. He trusted in the lord and allowed the lord to lead him.
Robert Wells received his education from Charlottesville City Schools. He Graduated from Charlottesville High school he was proud to be a Black Knight. He severed as a trainer his whole high school year he loved football and basketball it was his passion even after he graduated you would find standing on the sidelines with the coaches. After his high school years Robert worked for the English Inn and Comdial Telephone company for a small period until his health wouldn't allow him to.
Robert loved listening to his music and spending time with his family was the biggest thing he enjoyed doing. He was everything to all his nieces and nephews. He friends so dearly called him SHORTY. He was truly one in a million.
