It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reginald "Tight" Robinson, who left us peacefully on April 21, 2024, at the age of 47. Born and raised in Louisa, VA, he later made his home in Ashland.

Reginald , affectionately known as "Reggie" by his friends and family, was a beacon of strength, love, and generosity. After graduating from Louisa High School, where he shone as a football all-star, he pursued a career as a skilled carpenter, crafting not only structures but also strong relationships with all he worked alongside.

A devoted Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, Reggie's enthusiasm for the game was infectious, often hosting game day gatherings that became cherished traditions among his friends and family. His love for football was only eclipsed by his dedication to his family.

Beloved husband to Lisa Robinson, cherished father to Mariyah and Tyson of Louisa, and stepfather to Wayne Shepherd of Boston, MA, Reggie was a pillar of support and love. Born to the late Helen Smith and Alfred Robinson, and brother to the late Sandra Robinson, his strong family values were evident in every aspect of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Theresa Robinson. His legacy will live on through his children and stepchildren, as well as his adored grandchildren, Brody and Leighton Shepherd, who brought immense joy and pride to his later years. Reggie also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom cherished his presence in their lives.

Reggie's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the enduring strength of family bonds. His warm smile and hearty laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

A celebration of Reggie's life will take place on Friday, April 26th at 10:00 AM at Temple of Deliverance Church, located at 5756 Zachary Taylor Highway, Mineral, VA, 23117.

Following the service, he will be laid to rest at St. John Baptist Church, 5505 Zachary Taylor Highway, Mineral, VA, 23117. The family warmly invites all who knew Reggie to join in honoring his extraordinary life.

Flowers can be sent to D. D. Watson Mortician at 117 West Street Louisa, VA, 23093.

Rest in peace, dear Reggie . Your legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever be etched in our hearts.
