Sister Queen Hossaine Farrar departed this life on March 22, 2018 at the Trinity Missions in Charlottesville Va.

She was born on October 31, 1940 to the late Thomas W. and Julia M. Holland. (Hossaine) as everyone knew her, was educated in the Louisa County Public schools.

After graduating, she moved to New Jersey and married Eugene Farrar. From this union they had two sons, Zachary and Bryan Farrar.

Hossaine was employed for over forty years with the ShopRite Corporation in Bloomfield, NJ. Upon her retirement, (Hosey) as she liked to be called, returned to Louisa, Va. where she reunited with her home church, Galilee Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas W. and Julia M. Holland; her son, Zachary Farrar; two sisters, Mattie (Honey) Hicks and Carrie (Blanche) Parks; four brothers, Thomas C. Phillip, Early, and Leonard Holland.

Hossaine leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Bryan L. Farrar; three sisters, Ruth Walker, Marjorie Fitzgerald, and Jeanette (Tootsie) Kitrell, all of New Jersey; one brother, Ronnie Holland and wife Phyllis of Louisa; three additional sisters-in-law, Julia, Frances, and Barbara Holland, all of Louisa; four grandchildren, Gena Farrar (Shalah), Patrick Farrar, Jessica Booker (Dominic) and Jaden Farrar; three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at The Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson Louisa. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
