Priscilla Earleen Jackson Gross was born on October 1, 1962 in Albemarle County, VA, to the late Andrew Jackson and Lorraine Waller Jackson. She joined the Rising sun Baptist Church at an early age.
She was always smiling, laughing and telling jokes, whenever, people gathered around her. She loved her mother, sister, brothers, nieces and nephews. She, especially loved her two boys and granddaughters.
She worked at Louisa Mfg. for many years and then Tridem Filter Corps. She loved to have fun with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Jackson, Sr., brother, Chester Jackson and a devoted brother, Floyd Jackson. Also, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Josephine Anderson and her dearly loved, grandmother, Irene Gilliams (Granny).
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted mother, Lorraine Jackson; a devoted sister, Joyce Bowles (Harvey); two sons, Allen Jackson of Lawrenceville, VA and Ryan Jackson of Mineral, VA; her husband, Edward Gross; three brothers, Ronald Jackson (Geraldine) of Louisa, VA, Andrew Jackson, Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA and Wendell Jackson of Mineral, VA; two grandchildren, Gabriella and Makya Jackson of Chesterfield, VA; four sisters-in-law, Florine Jackson, Catherine Jackson and Felicia Jackson, all of Mineral, VA and Rhonda Gaines of Bumpass, VA; two brothers-in-law, Gregory Gross or Mineral, VA and Mark Gaines of Bumpass, VA; seven devoted nieces; eight devoted nephews; one uncle, Carter Waller of Spotsylvania; one aunt, Nadine Glasco of Ashland, VA; one great-aunt, Ruby Coles of Beaverdam, VA ; three great-uncles, David Waller and Benjamin Coles of Beaverdam, VA and Temple Waller of Gordonsville, VA; three devoted friends, Shirley Williams and Alreatha Butler of Louisa, VA and Bever Thomas of Mineral, VA; one devoted cousin, Mary Irene Shelton of Mineral, VA; one devoted great-niece, Allyssa Booker and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at Rising Sun Baptist Church, 6829 Fredericks Hall Road, Mineral, VA 23117. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
