Pearl Johnson departed this life July 31, 2026, at her home in Louisa County, Virginia. She was born August 29, 1931, to the late Arsey and Gertie Price in Louisa, Virginia. She was married to the late Cliff Junior Johnson. Pearl was the matriarch of her family and will forever be cherished.

Pearl received her education in Louisa, Virginia. As a young woman, Pearl joined County Line Baptist Church at an early age. She served faithfully on the Senior Choir for many years. She enjoyed fellowship with her church family until her health no longer allowed.

Pearl was a very quiet lady, but she always shared a smile and warm welcome. She loved to cook and loved to watch soap operas on TV. She was always there for her family.

Pearl leaves to cherish her memories; her remaining three children, daughter – Subrenda Shelton (James), two sons, Franklin Johnson (Wanda), and Howard Johnson; three grandchildren, Shandell Shelton, Sabrina Johnson and Franklin Johnson Jr., and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Annette (Lonnie) Dickerson of Louisa, Jane (James) Cox of Powhatan Virginia.
