When the time comes to bid this life farewell, we should find comfort in knowing that a loving God will be there with us to guide us to our new home.

Pauline Maxine Henson , affectionately known as "Sally" began her earthly journey on May 28, 1946, as the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy Henson and Robert Johnson.

On Friday, September 19, 2025, at 7:30 a.m., Pauline quietly slipped away from her earthly season and entered her eternal rest. She was joyfully reunited with her son, Gerald; his father, Horace D. Green; her twin sister, Pearline ("Sue"); her brothers, Charles ("Tot"), and Thomas ("Pie"); her nephew, Calvin ("Ronnie"); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones who welcomed her home.

Pauline was educated in the Louisa County Public Schools. At the age of 12, in August 1958, she accepted the Lord as her personal Savior, was baptized, and became a member of Rising Sun Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. John L. Tyler. Throughout the years, she faithfully served her church family, singing on several choirs and remaining a committed member of Rising Sun.

Pauline's work ethic was evident throughout her life. She was employed with Rockingham Sleepwear, Woodfolk Factory, and devoted 28 years of service to TriDim Filters, which is now, Mann + Hummel until April 2025, when her health began to decline.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures—watching The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, working crossword puzzles, and taking rides.

Pauline leaves to cherish her memory two granddaughters, Cierra and Nia Henson, and their mother, Doris; her nephew, Thomas Henson (Diane); her great-niece, Morgan; two aunts, Shirley Hunter (Lester) and Thelma Leonard (Kenneth); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; her devoted caretakers, Rev. Wesley Henson and his wife, Barbara; and special family and friends: Lawrence Minor (Ann), Grace Anderson Shelton, Leatrice Pace, Jackie Morris, Carolyn Richardson, Gail Lemon, Florine Jackson, Sheree Talley, and Mr. & Mrs. Ashland Fortune and family. Each of them loved her deeply and will miss her greatly.
