Some things in life are impossible for mankind to fully understand. No matter how long God has entrusted our loved ones here on earth, their sudden departure is hard to understand. We must accept God's will and abide by his holy words. The bible tells us that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. God Almighty called his dear servant,

Reverend Peggy N. Morris Brice was called to her eternal home on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Martha Jefferson hospital, located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Born in Louisa, Virginia to the late Clyde and Margaret Morris on July 22, 1948, she was one of twelve siblings.
She began her Christian journey as an active member of the Galilee Baptist Church in Kents Store, Virginia, and was later called to the ministry. In 1996, she was installed as Pastor of the Blue Run Baptist Church in Barbourville, Virginia where she presided until 2016.
Reverend Brice was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Matthew Brice, two sisters, Patricia Morris, and Sadye Mitchell, and two brothers Clyde Morris and Leon Morris.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 49 years, Willie Brice, and two sons Montez and Torrey Brice; one brother, Hubert Morris (Joyce) and six sisters, Velma Dickerson, Barbara Scott (Gilbert), Naomi Gilliam (Henry), Earnestine Banks (David), Bernadine Bradshaw, and Mercelia Morris; one sister-in-law Virginia Morris; two aunts Marie Harris and Lorene Johnson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in The Sun Chapel @D. D. Watson Mortician Louisa, from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Galilee Baptist Church 3598 Three Notch Road Ferncliff, VA 23053.
Interment will follow in the Morris Family Cemetery.
