On December 23, 2012, Pamela Elaine Taliaferro was called home to
be with the Lord at the University of Virginia Hospital in
Charlottesville, VA. She was born June 4, 1962 to the late Cora
Taliaferro and Thomas Johnson. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William T. and Tyola
Taliaferro.
At an early age Pamela accepted Christ and was baptized and
became a member of Springfield Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers, Carnell Johnson and wife Nancy
of Troy, Virginia and George Shelton and wife Brenda of Charlottesville,
Virginia; two sisters, Dale Lindsay of Troy, Virginia and Ethel Williams
of Louisa, Virginia; five aunts, Fannie B. Grooms, Connie Taliaferro, Tyola Brown and husband Jessie of Louisa, Virginia, Bertha L. Brown and husband
James of Palmyra, Virginia and Etta M. Taliaferro of Charlottesville,
Virginia; one uncle, Nelson Taliaferro of Troy, Virginia; special friend, Norman Matthews of Palmyra, Virginia; lifelong friend, Dale
Carter of Louisa, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 29,2012 at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Grooms officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
