Pamela Christine "Tina" Burley was born on January 4, 1964 to Melvin and Christine Burley. She departed this life on October 7, 2010 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Va.

At an early age, she joined the St. John Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ into her life. She graduated from Spotsylvania High School. Later she received certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Pam will always be remembered for her smile, giving spirit and her love and devotion to her family.

Pamela was employed at Simmons Mattress Company in Fredericksburg, Virginia for eight years.

Her father, Melvin Burley, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, Dion Burley; a devoted mother, Christine Burley; two sisters, Marquetta Parker and Roxanne Burley, all of Spotsylvania, Virginia; one brother, Eric (Debra) Burley, of Spotsylvania, Virginia; five aunts, Loretta Coleman, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Joyce (James) Jackson, of Louisa, Virginia, Darlean (Grifton) Whiters, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Gloria Coleman, of Maryland and Kadell (Vincent) Coles, of Charlottesville, Virginia; two uncles, Bobby Burley of Louisa, Virginia and Jimmy (Carrie) Talley, of Spotsylvania, Virginia; Ashley Crosswhite, whom she cherished as a daughter; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Max, the dog, whom she loved.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Saint John Baptist Church, 5482 Zachary Taylor Highway Mineral, VA 23117 with the Rev. Jerry Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
