Nicholas ("Nick") Brent Childs, 53, was born January 26, 1964 to Roy E. Childs (deceased) and Delores L. Childs.  Nick passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.  He was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Childs; paternal grandparents: Roy K. and Helen Childs; maternal grandparents: Lottie and George Brent.

Nick's entire education was received in Louisa County, VA where he graduated from High School.  Nick spent time living between Louisa, Washington, DC and Maryland where he held various occupations.  Nick loved to fish and watch sports and Nascar.

Nick leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Delores L. Childs; his sisters and a brother: Delores L. Quarles, Robert E. Childs, Cynthia Y. Childs, Andrea Williams (Randolph) and Cheryl L. Ford; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other close family and friends.

Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at The Sun Chapel D. D. Watson Mortician,Inc., Louisa.
