Nathaniel Waller departed this life at the age of 88 years of age at the Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center. Nathaniel Waller was born to the Late Randolph and Williama Waller.
He attended Hanover County Public Schools. Nat, as he was affectionately called, was employed by Izzo Construction Company in Washington D.C. He also became a member of the Tried Way of the Cross Church in Mineral VA.
Nathaniel Waller was preceded in death by his late wife, Lenora Mason; one daughter, Ethel Waller; two sons, Thomas Waller and Leo Waller; three sisters, Pauline Mercer, Leatha Coles and Doris Green and four brothers, Edward Waller, James (Gene) Waller, Lorenzo Waller and Arthur Waller.
He is survived by four sons, Bernard (Pete) Johnson of Richmond VA, Nathaniel (Jr) Waller of Spotsylvania VA, Robert Waller (Patricia) of Louisa VA and Earl Waller of Spotsylvania VA; two daughters, Mary (Lawson) Coles of Spotsylvania VA, Artie (Howard) Jackson of Louisa VA; daughter-in-law, Mary Anna Waller of Spotsylvania VA; two sisters, Arlena Ross of Beaver dam VA, and Julia Shelton of Louisa VA; fourteen grandchildren, including one devoted grandchild, Paulette Henson; twenty great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren, including one devoted great great grandchild, Doviah Henson; devoted nephews, Ernest (Skeeta ) Johnson Jr. ; a host of nieces, nephews and reliable friends, Carol Lee Coles and Steven Coles.
On Saturday, May 6, 2017, Nat's life will be celebrated at 1 PM, at the Tried Way of the Cross, 9367 Fredericks Hall Road, Mineral, VA 23117, with Elder Thomas O. Johnson officiating and Elder Howard Jackson delivering the message of comfort.
His remains will rest in the church for viewing beginning at 11:30 AM.
The committal and benediction will follow at The True Apostolic Church of Christ Cemetery, 6631 Fredericks Hall Road, Mineral, VA 23117.
