IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Marquette
Hunter
November 5, 1977 – July 2, 2020
On July 2, 2020, Michael Marquette Hunter was ushered into eternal rest suddenly at his residence in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Michael "Run Run" was born on November 5, 1977 to Suzette Kim Brown and C. Michael Hunter at Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington DC.
Michael shared a birthday with his one and only little sister. The day she was born he claimed her as his birthday gift. As the years went by, little did he know, she viewed him as her birthday gift, a loving and caring big brother.
Michael graduated from Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, Virginia in 1995. He grew a love for cars and technology and would research every detail before starting a new project. After high school, Michael learned how to install car stereos, sound systems and make modifications to his first project, his Honda Civic, by adding a little style and a lot of horsepower. Michael spent a lot of time at Budds Creek (Maryland International Raceway) with family and friends observing the races and looking for new ideas for his "rice burner". Michael was a devoted family man. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family, especially his mom, sister, children and fiancé. Michael was also an extremely hard worker. He was a dedicated employee at Martin Brower for over five years and excelling in his career. One thing few knew about Michael is that he was very prudent and wise with his spending and always planning for his future. Michael was studying and practicing Islam religion and always believed in God. He enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends and was forever the life of the party. He will be remembered mostly by his smile, laugh and being a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
Michael is survived by his mother Suzette Kim Brown, father C. Michael Hunter, children Sean, Sasha and Alyssa Hunter, Grandmother Pearl Hunter, Sister Sheena Ellington, Fiancé Rosa Martinez, Uncles Johnnie Hughes Jr., Mark "Cockroach" Hughes Sr. (Priscilla), Hubert Hunter, Joseph Hunter Jr., Gilbert Hunter and Reggie Hunter, Godmother and Aunt Sheila "DD" Brown, Aunts Jackie Wilson and Pam Hughes, niece Sidney, nephews Tyrel, Ryshad and Camryn, Godbrother and cousin Thomas Brown, close cousins Melissa Thompson, Kelly Brickhouse, Justin Hughes and Richard Quarles Jr., close friends Sara Kay, Benny Jenkins, Kenneth Powell and Dano Williams, along with numerous family members and friends.
