Obituary
Merdell Johnson Montgomery of Sumter, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2014.
Born, November 18, 1925, in Louisa, VA, she was the daughter of the late James McCoy and Alberta Mickens Johnson. Her husband Willie Montgomery predeceased her.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: a step-daughter, Mary Jett; a devoted nephew, Daniel Johnson; an aunt, Edith Mickens and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 22, 2014, 4 P.M. at the Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel, Louisa, VA.
