Melissa Michelle "Missy" Tyler, 44 of Columbia, Virginia died on Monday, March 21, 2011, at Henrico Doctors Hospital after a short illness.
Born Sunday, March 5, 1967 in Columbia, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Ronald Tyler and the late Geraldine Bowles Tyler.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She received her education in the Goochland County Public Schools systems.
She leaves to cherish her memories three devoted children; Jason Tyler, Shanna Tyler,and Christina Tyler all of Columbia, VA; two loving grandchildren; Justin and Amayah Tyler of Columbia,VA; five brothers, Kenneth Tyler, Richard Bowles, Jerry Pannell, Donald Bowles all of Goochland, VA and George Pannell of Richmond, VA, one sister, Ardena C. Cooke of Louisa, VA; one aunt, Blanche Williams; three uncles, Albert Tyler, Jerome Tyler, Sr., both of Columbia,VA; and oliver Tyler of New York, four special friends, Frances Tayler, Katrina Johnson, Jessica Miller, and Clarence Miles along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tyrone McCowin, officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Columbia, VA.
