Mary Ann Hackney Scott, 89, of Louisa, VA, born May 16, 1928, passed away on Tluesday, April 17, 2018, preceded in death by her loving husband, Deacon Walter Frank Scott, Sr.,

She leaves to continue her legacy: Four daughters: Diane S. Haden (Pastor Haden) of Fort Washington, MD,  Veta Scott Wiggins-Nakai, and Chris Marie Scott both of Albuquerque, NM and Minister Dale Morris Bradshaw (Henry) of Louisa, VA; two sons: Walter Scott, Jr. of Richmond, VA, and Glen W. Scott of Louisa, VA; one sister, Melinda H. Bruce of Kents Store, VA; four sisters-in-law: Elisha Scott, Audrey S. Perkins, Leona Johnson, Phyliss Hackney, all of Louisa, VA, and Mattie Hackney of Haymarket, VA; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Our beloved rests at D.D. Watson Mortician, Inc., 117 West Street Louisa, Virginia 23093.  The Home-going service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the County Line Baptist Church, 4070 County Line Road, Kents Store, VA 23084. Pastor Wesley Tolliver will officiate with Pastor Joseph Haden, Sr., Eulogist.  Interment will follow at the Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery, 3598 Three Notch Road, Kents Store, VA 23084.
