Mrs. Mary K. Hanner, of Charlottesville, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was born in Nelson County, Virginia, on December 14, 1918, to Plummer Lewis and Lulee Baker Fitch. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rev. T. R. Hanner, and her daughter, Theadora R. Dorn.

Survivors include a son, Raymond E. Hanner, of Costa Rica; a daughter, Vanessa H. Wells and a devoted son-in-law, Rev. B. G. Wells, of Charlottesville; five grandchildren, ten great-grand-children and one great great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, at 1:00 p.m. at The Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Nelson County, Virginia. The body will lie-in-state from 11:30 a.m until hour of the service; interment will follow in church cemetery.
