Marvin Woodruff Williams, age 84 of Bumpass, Virginia, peacefully departed this life on Sunday December 1, 2024 at Louisa Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on February 24, 1940 to the late Charlie and Mary Ethel Williams in Buckner, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by four infant brothers, three sisters Lucille W Moody, Mary W Perkins, Martha W Coleman, 2 brothers Bert L Williams and Fred M Williams.

Marvin accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized at Mt. Garland Baptist Church. He was educated in Louisa County Public Schools.

He worked for several businesses such as Tyler Lumber Company, Stone & Webster at North Anna Power Station as a Labor Foreman. He also had his own cord wood business.

His hobbies were auto racing, working on his vehicles, cooking, listening to music and playing his guitar.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Alice M Johnson of Mineral, Virginia and Addie Williams Medina of Philadelphia, Pa.; two devoted nieces, Mary O. Jackson and Deborah C French.

Also a host of devoted relatives and many devoted friends.
