IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Louise
Watson
April 21, 1938 – March 18, 2014
Walk with me Lord, walk with me; while I'm on this tedious journey, I want Jesus to walk with me. (Margaret's favorite song)
Margaret Louise McCullough Watson , known to many as "Tink", daughter of the late Melvin McCullough, Sr. and Lottie Smith McCullough was born April 21, 1938, in Andrews, South Carolina. She received her education in the Georgetown County Public School system and graduated from Rosemary High School.
At 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, Margaret took off her earthly clothing at McLeod Regional Hospital in Florence, SC and put on her long white robe to fly away peacefully with Jesus.
Margaret married Deles Watson, Sr. and with this union, three children were born. Donna, D.D. and Patricia were the apple of her eyes.
Margaret joined the Mt. Lebanon family roll as a child and remained faithful until her health began to fail. She served on the Missionary Board, Captain's Rally and loved working on the Family and Friends Committee, where she was always chosen as the captain because she knew how to bring in the money. She knew serving on various ministries wouldn't allow her to enter into the kingdom, so she confessed Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized under Dr. Hermon Gibson, Jr. in the Black River of Jordan.
Margaret was a former employee of Oneita Industries, B&B Knitwear, and the Georgetown County Public Library, where her co-workers loved her dearly.
Margaret
was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Edward "Dick" McCullough (Annie Mae); a sister, Ethel (Melvin) Brown; two nephews, Frank Eugene and Johnny Lee Brown.
