Margaret Ann Farmer Jones entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 29, 2021at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

She was born on June 8, 1939 in Louisa County to the late Gracie and Preston Farmer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Jones; sisters, Gracie Lipford, Marie Gross, Beatrice Morris and brother, Preston Farmer, Jr.

Margaret was a member of Mount Gilliam Baptist (New Site) Church.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sheila; son, Patrick and godson, Ryan all of Louisa; sisters, Doris Wimbush of Pleasantville, NJ, Henrietta Evans of Washington, DC; Shirley Thurston of Philadelphia, PA; one son-n-law, Gerald Coleman; one daughter-n-law, Chris Ferris-Jones; four grandchildren, Tameika, William, Jr., Wendall and Sharron; nine great grandchildren, DaZhawn,JaNaya, DaNasha, David, Jr., Darin, Bre, Brandon, Za'Nera and Laron and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, 1:30 PM in The Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson Mortician, 117 West Street, Louisa, VA. 23093 with Reverend Virginia Farmer, officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Gilliam Baptist (New Site) Church Cemetery.
