Margaret Elizabeth Anderson , also known as Boney or Lou, was born July 28, 1947, in Louisa, Virginia to the late Walter Mallory and Angie Anderson Mallory (Melton). Margaret gained her heavenly wings on December 7, 2023, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Anderson, her nephew, Travis Mallory and great-niece D'Monet Anderson.
She attended Louisa County Public Schools and graduated from A.G. Richardson High School in 1965. After graduating from high school, she worked several jobs: Mineral Manufacturing, Lawda Industries, Supervisor at Best Products for over 25 years in Ashland, and Supervisor at McKesson Medical in Richmond where she retired in 2016. After retirement, she worked for Louisa County Public School Transportation Department until her health began to decline. She was a member of the A.G. Richardson Alumni Committee for several years.
Margaret was baptized at an early age at Ebenezer Baptist Church and was an active member. She attended Sunday school and church services regularly. She was a member of the Trustee Ministry, a member of the Missionary Ministry, and a member and President of the Gospel Chorus until her health began to decline. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23.
She enjoyed life by spending time with her family and friends. She loved reading, doing word searches and word puzzles, playing Bingo, watching her game and cooking shows: especially Press Your Luck, Hell's Kitchen, and her westerns - Gunsmoke and Big Valley. She also enjoyed watching Judge Judy. If you ever got the chance to grace her presence, you would never forget her.
