With hearts heavy yet filled with joyous memories, we announce the passing of Ms. Mabel M. Womack, a spirited and loving soul who touched many lives with her vibrant laughter and unwavering faith. Born on January 16, 1931, in Danville, Virginia, Mable spent her 94 years bringing joy to those around her. From her birthplace in Danville to her residence in Louisa, Virginia, Mablel' s journey was one of resilience, boundless love, and an infectious zest for life.

Mabel was a woman of many talents, with a deep love for singing and listening to gospel music, an interest that she passionately pursued throughout her life. Her voice, filled with love and devotion, echoed within the walls of Louisa Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she resided, and could be heard joyfully singing during the church services. The center was not just her residence, but a place where Mable thrived, participating in social activities, and spreading her kindness and warmth. To quote Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. " Mable' s radiant personality and compassionate spirit made her unforgettable to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Mabel was never married nor employed, but she was rich in relationships and cherished her family deeply. Her life was a testament to the power of family bonds and the joy derived from simple, loving interactions. Mabel is survived by her family members Thomasine Wilson, LaWanda Quarles, Rolinda Mansfield, Gerome Wilson, Rolando Wilson, Lucille Bland, Lena Womack, and Patricia Womack. She was preceded in death by her father, Lynnwood Womack, her mother, cousin Betty Wilson, and a host of relatives who loved her dearly.
