Lottie Mae Bullock was born in Lousia, Virginia on December 8, 1929 to the late Herbert and Lottie Hunter. She departed this life on August 6, 2014 in Fork Union, Virginia.

Lottie was a graduate of the Louisa County Training School. She was employed by Louisa Manufacturing Company where she worked tirelessly until her retirement. She was joined in holy matrimony to John D. Bullock and to this union, two children were born; one preceded her in death.

She was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church, where she served faithfully on the usher board until her health declined. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Lottie loved sewing, cooking, gardening and tending to her pets. You could often find her watching her favorite soap opera, "The Young and the Restless".

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Bullock; a son, Charles W. Bullock, Sr.; two brothers, George Hunter and Herman Hunter and two sisters, Gertrude Hunter and Louise Mickens.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Beverly Bullock Manley (Donald) of Louisa, VA; one brother, Herbert Hunter, Jr. (Shirley) of Mineral, VA; a devoted granddaughter, Christina Bullock; a grandson, Charles Bullock, Jr.; a daughter-n-law, Janice Bullock; a dedicated niece, Willie Ann Hunter; four other grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 7653 Kentucky Springs Road, Mineral, VA with Elder Lynn W. Beanum, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Laurel Hill Baptist Cemetery.
