LOUISA - Mrs. Lillian Beatrice Jones Jackson, 85, born May 4, 1935 of Louisa, Virginia transitioned peacefully from earth to glory as a  beautiful sunset occurred on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 4:51pm surrounded by her children. Lillian known by most as "Lil" was preceded in death by her parents,  Jimmy and Nora Jones; brothers, Freddie, George, James  III and Earl Jones; husband, Raymond Jackson and daughter, Deborah Williams.  Lillian graduated high school from  A.G. Richardson in Louisa County and attended beauty school  in Richmond, Virginia. She was married to Raymond Jackson for 42 years and was blessed to have four wonderful children, (Deborah, Tirish, Ray Jr. and Bill); eight grandchildren, Vernon Williams, Jr. (Erica), Chesterfield VA, Chris Williams (Shelly), Boston Massachusetts, Jordan Jackson (Whitney), Alexandria VA, Jonathan and Taylor Jackson, Darrell Stith of Chesterfield VA, Kiana Jackson of Atlanta Georgia and Ryan Dailey of Wisconsin. There are four great grandchildren, Micah Williams (Boston), Zachary Jackson (Alexandria) and Skylar and Shaniyah Williams (Chesterfield) .

Lillian is survived by one brother, Ervin Jones (Bonnie) of Louisa VA; children, Raymond Jackson Jr (Debra) of Chesterfield VA, William Jackson (Monica) of Atlanta Georgia and Ramonia "Tirish" Stith of Chesterfield, VA and son-in-law Vernon Williams, Sr. of Chesterfield, VA.

Lillian travels included San Francisco and Los Angles California, Cruises to Freeport, Nassau and Half Moon Cay Bahamas, Jamaica, New York, Alabama, Florida and numerous other states. She was employed with the Louisa County Public School for 29 years working with special education children. Lillian loved people and making them happy. Most of all, she loved God and tried to serve him to her fullest as she exhibited strong faith in the face of adversities. She enjoyed going to church starting at the age of 17 serving as the choir director. She additionally later served as the church secretary,  missionary president, treasurer and Sunday School teacher up until her passing. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly by transporting them to doctors, grocery store, volunteering at nursing homes and senior citizen centers. She served as President of the Oakland and Ellisville Club for over 20 years. One of her best talents was her baking gifts as she was well known throughout the area as one of the best traditional, wedding and birthday cake bakers. One of her creations was flown to California for a wedding.
