Leeanna Timberlake Morris, 92, of Louisa, VA peacefully slipped into eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
She was born on May 15, 1923 to the late Isaiah & Sarah Timberlake. Her parents, husband Connie Coree Morris, three sons Calvin Morris, Lucien Morris, Alonzo Morris, one daughter Edna Lee Morris, three grandsons Carl Andre Scott, Marvin Morris, Chris Morris and one granddaughter Tracy Scott preceded her in death.
Leanna attended and graduated from Louisa school. She was joined in holy matrimony to Connie Morris in 1940. Leanna worked and retired from the University of Virginia.
Leeanna was a person of many words. She always had a lot to say and didn't mind saying it. She was a faithful member of County Line Baptist Church. She attended the Louisa senior center for many years. She met many people and enjoyed their company.
She is survived by three children; Arlene Miles (Donnie), Almanie Bowles and Charles Morris (Shirley) all of Louisa. Eleven grandkids one devoted Cheryl Morris, twelve great grandkids and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at County Line Baptist Church 4070 County Line Road Kents Store, VA 23084 with Rev. Walter Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
