Kevin Lynn Payne, 47, of Louisa, VA entered in to eternal rest on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the home of his parents.
"Keebie" as he was called by most, was born in Louisa County, VA on January 19, 1964 to the late Fred Payne, Sr and Ida Payne Brooks.
Keebie attended Louisa County Public Schools and joined Philippi Christian Church at an early age.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted family: his mother, Ida Brooks and stepfather, Harry Brooks; one brother, Fred Payne, Jr. (Kathy); two sisters, Freda Jones (Nelson) and Donna Banks (Robert); two stepbrothers, Tony Brooks and Vernardo Brooks (Carolyn); two stepsisters, Lynn Lewis (Keith) and Sunday White; one uncle, Willie Hayden (Brenda); three aunts, Loretta Hayden, Laura Payne and Edna Clark (Lawrence); five nephews, Eric, Derrick, Dwayne and Brandon Payne, and Quinton Smith; two cousins, Leslie Clark and Tawanda Anderson; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Philippi Christian Church, Mineral, VA with the Rev. Temple E. Anderson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Hayden Family Cemetery.
