Julius Albert Clark, Sr., was born December 26, 1930 in Washington DC to the late Julie Scott. He got his wings on July 1, 2022.
Scotty as he was affectionately known, attended the DC Public Schools system. He grew up in the Southwest area of Washington DC.
He went on to join the US Army during the Korean war conflict as a paratrooper.
He married Almeta Watson-Shaw; from that union they were blessed with 2 children, Julius Albert, Jr and Shelia Ann Clark. In addition to his mother, he is proceeded in death by his daughter, Sheila Ann Clark.
Later, he married Vernet Gloria Plummer who also preceded him in death in 2009.
Scotty was an entrepreneur, artist, musician (guitar & harmonica), and Civil Rights Advocate. He loved to play his guitar to entertain family and friends.
Scotty gave his life to the Lord at an early age. He was a deacon at Providence Baptist Church in Washington DC and later after moving to the Bumpass, VA area, a deacon at Watchtower Baptist Church Bumpass, VA.
He sang in the church choir, taught Sunday School and Bible study. He loved having discussions regarding the Bible; his knowledge of the Bible was tremendous.
He took pride in raising horses and farm animals and attending animal auctions.
He leaves behind son, Julius, Jr (Toni); step-son, Jerome M.Watson, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Watch Tower Baptist Church 375 Pottiesville Road Bumpass, Virginia 23093, with Rev. Sharon Roberts officiating. Burial, with military honors will be in the Spring Grove Cemetery.
