Johnathan Antoine Farrar, 18, of Fredericksburg, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 1, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident. Johnathan or "Skoonie Buck" as he was affectionately called by his father, was born on July 19, 1989 to Fatina Grooms and John Farrar.
Johnathan leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Fatina Grooms and father John Farrar; his great-grandmother, Mamie Grooms; his grandparents, Renay and Alfred Grooms and Willie Jane Farrar; brother, Chay Harris; four sisters, Jamirah Grooms, Tamisha Harris, Victoria Harris and Latasha Hughes; four aunts Cassandra Grooms, Harriett Parrish, Margie Farrar-Simpson and Mary Grooms; two uncles, Keith Quarles and James Farrar; godmother, Penny Epps and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2008 at New Life Community Church, 509 East Main Street Louisa, Virginia 23093. Rev. Otis Spellman of the Galilee Baptist Church will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Zion Travelers Baptist Church Cemetery, 3662 Roundabout Road (RR 604) Louisa, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund in the name of Fatina Grooms for Johnathan's name in (Memo) at the Virginia Credit Union, Post Office Box 90010 Richmond, Virginia 23225.
