Jewel Timberlake entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
He was born January 12, 1948 to Mabel Price Timberlake and James Allen Timberlake.
He was a native of Louisa County and attended A. G. Richardson High School. He worked for UVA as a housekeeping supervisor until he retired on disability.
Jewel was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Timberlake; his brother, Maurice and a sister, Betty Jean Nelson.
Jewel joined County Line Baptist Church at an early age; he attended Sunday School and was a member of the Usher Board for a number of years.
He leaves to mourn a devoted wife, Julia Mitchell Timberlake; a loving mother, Mabel Price Timberlake; three children, Giselle Timberlake, Jermaine Timberlake and James Rondell Timberlake; one sister, Janet Timberlake; three grandchildren, John Ragland, Schylar Minor and Rachel Timberlake; mother-in-law, Frances Mitchell; one uncle, James Price(Doris); two brothers-in-law, Floyd Mitchell, Jr.(Brenda) and Roger Nelson; one sister-in-law, Henrietta Preasha and a host of loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Alonzo Minor officiating.
