Jerome Elwood Payne , 40, born November 15, 1984, to James Elwood Payne of Richmond, and Francine Johnson Payne of Goochland went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2025.

In addition to his parents, Jerome leaves to cherish his memories, one grandmother, Lucy W. Payne of Goochland, VA; two aunts, Penny Payne of Lynchburg, and Ruth Williams of Palmyra; three uncles, Herman Winston of Richmond, Darryl Payne, and Raynard (Leola) Payne of Goochland. Also left to cherish his memories are special adopted families, the Bradshaw and Bass families of Palmyra and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held 2pm Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Galilee Baptist Church Kents Store, Virginia 23084
