Jermaine Thomas Scott, a loving and humble soul, was born on October 14, 1979, in Charlottesville, VA, and embraced eternity on August 5, 2023. Throughout his life, Jermaine Thomas exemplified thoughtfulness and a spirit of adventure, bringing light and laughter into the lives of those who knew him. He was a resident of Louisa, Virginia, where he lived for 43 years, and his presence in the community will be profoundly missed.

Jermaine Thomas was a dedicated worker for Klockner Pentaplast of America, Inc. for 12 years. His hard work and dedication were evident, but what truly defined him was his unwavering devotion to his two daughters. His love for his children was a testament to his character. As poet Khalil Gibran once said, "You may give them your love but not your thoughts, for they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow." And so, Jermaine, imparted not just his love but also his wisdom, humility, and adventurous spirit to his daughters.

Survived by his father, Calvin T. Scott, and his mother, Debra Burgess Holt, and his two daughters, Jermaine ,was a beacon of love and support for his family.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to pay their respects on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 4:00pm to 7:00pm at The Sun Chapel at D.D. Watson, Louisa.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 2:00pm at Standing On the Promise of God, located at 1201 Waldrop Church Road, Louisa, Virginia, 23093.
