Jeanette Sallie Williams Anderson, 80 of Louisa, VA graduated from earthly labor to Heavenly reward on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
She was born on April 6, 1934 to the late John and Kate Williams. Her parents; her husband, Johnny of 51 years; two sisters, Catherine Harrison, Florence Johnson and a brother, John Williams, preceded her in death.
Jeanette attended and graduated from the Louisa Training School. She was later joined in holy matrimony to Johnny Anderson in December of 1951.
She had a combined work history of over 40 years, having worked at Louisa Laundry Woolfolk Manufacturing and 33 years at Louisa Manufacturing from which she retired.
Jeanette as she was affectionally known, was a sweet spirit. She loved and enjoyed life. To ask her anything, you could consider it done.
As her health began to decline up to the time of her death, she met each challenge with courage.
She had been a faithful life long member of the Eagle Baptist Church. She sang on the choir as well as served as choir president. She was also president of the Educational Board. She loved her family, her church family and people in general.
She is survived by her four children, Christine Johnson (Cedric), John Anderson (friend, Marilyn), Deborah Bradshaw (Frederick) all of Louisa, and Donald Anderson (Vera) of Bumpass; a sister, Mary Virginia Williams of Mineral; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Eagle Baptist Church 4682 Mt. Airy Road Louisa, Virginia; with Rev. Roger Braxton, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
