When the time comes to bid this life farewell, we should find comfort in knowing that a loving God will be there with us to guide us to our new home.

Jane Mallory, 62, of Bumpass, Virginia, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Friday, July 4, 2025. Born on January 5, 1963, to Annie and William "Nathan" Johnson, Jane's life was a radiant testament to love, faith, and service.

A proud graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Class of 1981, Jane began her professional journey at Best Products, where she worked diligently for more than fifteen years. She later joined Owens & Minor, serving with distinction for three decades. Her leadership, integrity, and kindness made her a beloved figure among colleagues and friends alike.

From a young age, Jane was rooted in her faith. She was baptized at Bethany Baptist Church and later joined Mount Zion Baptist Church with her husband, where she faithfully served as church clerk, usher, and choir member. In 2011, Jane became a founding member of Life Changing Ministries International (LCMI), where her anointed voice led worship as the lead psalmist. It was there that she was licensed as a minister and embraced her many spiritual gifts—giving, hospitality, exhortation, teaching, faith, intercession, and administration. She served as the financial executive of the ministry, offering wisdom and stewardship with unwavering dedication. A trusted confidant and safe haven for many, Minister Jane embodied grace, compassion, and spiritual strength.

On September 12, 1987, Jane married the love of her life, Marvin Mallory. Their union was blessed with two cherished daughters, Monique and Monica—her pride and joy, whom she affectionately called "my girls." Jane was a devoted wife and nurturing mother whose love knew no bounds. Her life reflected the essence of 1 Corinthians 13: a life filled with patience, kindness, faith, and enduring love.

Jane had a heart that welcomed all. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and acceptance, where all felt seen, valued, and loved. She lived the values of Christ daily, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Her impact extended far beyond her family and church—she was a pillar in her community and a light to many on their spiritual journey.

Jane leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, and is survived by her devoted husband, Marvin Mallory; loving mother, Annie Johnson; cherished daughters, Monique McCrea (Milton) and Monica Mallory (Kevin); her favorite grandson, Matthew McCrea; loving brothers, John Woody and Jerome Johnson (Freda); two cherished aunts, Cordell and Bettie Johnson; three dear uncles, Joseph Woody, Paul Woody, and Calvin Johnson (Geri); four beloved sisters-in-law, Armestine Cassell (Clyde), Della Nelson (Kenneth), Robbie Cosby (Thomas), and Andrea Phillips (Kennedy); five beloved nieces, Evana Johnson, Chanel Cassell, Torey Jackson (Travis), Megan Nelson, and Logan Phillips; two loved nephews, Sean Nelson (Laura) and Travis Phillips; two precious great nieces, Elaina Cassell and Kendal Jackson; four precious great nephews, Cayse Cassell, Cameron Nelson, Christian Nelson and Jace Jackson; three treasured spiritual sisters, Apostle Karen Harden, Mother Mary Ellen Christmas, and Pastor Johnna Tyler Davis; and a host of cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William "Nathan" Johnson. Jane will be deeply missed, profoundly loved, and forever remembered.
