James Henry Johnson departed this life on June 12, 2008 at the Louisa Health Care Center in Louisa, Virginia. He was born, May 13, 1930 in Louisa, Virginia. James was a member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church of Mineral, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Johnson; his mother, Ellen Green Johnson; two brothers, Phillip and Herbert Lee Johnson; three brothers-n-law, George Hunter, Wilson Mickens and John Brown.
To his memories, he leaves one son, James Johnson, Jr.; friend, Lyna Carter; three sisters, Mary Hunter of Mineral, VA, Edna Mickens and Queen Brown of Fredericksburg, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel in Louisa with the Reverend Edward R. Moody, officiating. Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Mineral, VA.
