He used his cooking abilities to secure licensure as a remarkably successful chef who loved to be in the kitchen. He also enjoyed maintaining and sharpening those skills by preparing amazing cuisines on the waterfront. As a member of the House of God of Cobham, Virginia, he enjoyed exercising his faith.
James is survived by his parents, Zelda (Raven) Anderson and Henry Anderson; his biological father; his children, Vivian Thompson and his "great baby", Mia Alese Horsley; his brothers, Davonte' Raven, James "Maine" Horsley Jr., James Jones and ; sisters, Quanisha Renee Raven (Johnny) and Mary Chavis-Coles (Vincent); his step-brother, Enoch Anderson; step-sister, Naomi Anderson; his grandmothers, Lucy Raven and Mrs. Nell; his fiancé, Mica Townley; his special aunt Geneva and a host of aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, and cousins.
