When the time comes to bid this life farewell, we should find comfort in knowing that a loving God will be there with us to guide us to our new home.
Howard Lee Henson, 64, of Louisa, Virginia entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2025. He was born on August 11, 1960 to the late Clinton Sr and Alberta Henson. He's preceded in death by his parents.
Howard joined Foster Creek Baptist Church at an early age. A proud veteran, Howard served in the United States Army from May 2, 1979, to July 27, 1984.
Howard was previously married to Norma Linda Adame, with whom they shared two children: Kimberly Madeline Trevino and Tyreesha Plowden.
In his transition, Howard leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Kimberly and Tyreesha, His Sisters Karen, Lisa, Sandra (Henry) and one brother Clinton Jr, all of Louisa, Virginia. One grandson Myles Anthony, Aunts Ellen Burruss, Sandra Henson, Sadie Burruss, Della Fortune, Emily Johnson (Harvey), Lucy Minor (George), all of Louisa and Helen Allen (Curtis) of Gordonsville. Nieces and Nephews Maurice (Leonika), Taurean, Brian, Domonick (Deondra),Bradley, Preston, LeKendra (Russell), Broderick, Stacy, and Caleb. A host of great nieces/nephews, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his dear friends LaToya and Khadijah.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in The Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson, Louisa interment with military honors will follow in the family cemetery.
To the Henson family, we at D. D. Watson offer our most sincere sympathy and condolences. Our prayer continues to be that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
It is during such times as these that we draw upon our faith, stand upon our scriptures and rely upon our God. There is no question that in this and through this, God will keep you, comfort you and sustain you. You and your family are forever in our prayers.
