On September 23, 2024, Hosea Johnson Jr ., affectionately known as "Tojo," was peacefully called home at the age of 66. Born on April 20, 1958, in Louisa, Virginia, he was the son of Deloris Johnson and the late Hosea Johnson Sr.

Hosea was a vibrant spirit who brought joy to all who knew him. He cherished his family and took great pride in being the designated DJ at family gatherings, filling the air with music and laughter. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Hosea's enthusiasm for the team was unmatched.
For 20 years, Hosea worked at Tyson Holly Farm, followed by 16 years at Accurate Logistics, where he retired in 2020. His dedication and work ethic were evident in all he did.

Hosea was preceded in death by his father, Hosea Johnson Sr.; his daughter, Sheta Tinsley; his brother, Maurice Buckner; and his sister, Cynthia Johnson.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Deloris Johnson; his son, Hosea Mallory; four grandchildren, Destiny, Hosea, Kiara, and Chad; one great-grandchild, Nevaeha; five sisters, Berlinda Robinson (Wilbur), Canest West, Geraldine Norfleet, and Connie Cartwright; two brothers, Lowell Johnson, and Rodney Johnson (Chrishawna); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, beloved cousins, and friends.
