Henry Junior Jackson was born on July 8, 1925, to the late Alice Jackson. He was the oldest of four children. Henry departed this life at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Henry attended the Louisa public school system. He worked many jobs to support his family, as well as served his country while in the United States Army. Henry married the late Louise Morris and to their union were four children, Larry Morris Jackson (deceased), Kathy Diane Simms (deceased) and Gail Ramona Fountain (deceased) and Barry Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Francis Anderson, his brother, James Davis, his grandson, Michael Fountain and his daughter law, Deborah Farrar Jackson.
Henry touched the lives of so many.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Barry Jackson, one sister, Alice I. Robinson; six grandchildren, Troy, Quinton, Sergio, and Kyle Jackson, Brandon Simms, and Francis Simms, one sister in law, Kathy Davis, one brother in laws, William Robinson; two son-in-laws James Fountain and Larry Sims, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and a very devoted friend, Patricia Alexander, whom we love and appreciate for all of her care, love and support.

There will be a public viewing at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 8 from noon to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will take place at Temple of Deliverance, HCG in Mineral, VA on Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 a.m. with Elder Lynn Beanum officiating. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in the Jackson-Davis Family Cemetery.
