Helen Smith Robinson, age 67, of Louisa VA, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday September 25, 2017. Helen was born on August 1, 1950 to the Harold Hackney and the late Mary Jackson and was raised by Charlie Jackson.

She attended the Louisa County Public Schools. At an early age she married Alfred Robinson and to that union three children were conceived. She worked at Louisa Manufacture for many years until it went out of business and closed its doors. She was a quiet and shy person with a sweet spirit. She attended Living Water Fellowship Church until her health failed.

She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Sandra Robinson and sister, Rose Caroline Jackson.

Helen will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Robinson and Son Reggie Robinson. She has ten grandchildren: Devonne, Nicky, Rahim, Tychi, Akierra, Samone, Jaques, Maylik, Mariyah, and Tyson; and one great grandchild, Malakhi. She is also survived by her siblings, Blanche (Harry) Quarles, Sadie Scott, Joyce Eldridge, Mavrick (Barbara) Jackson, and Angie Hackney and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. John Baptist Church, 5482 Zachary Taylor Highway, Mineral, Virginia 23117 with Rev. Annie Holland officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
